Lake Lanier Modern Pool and Spa

This Lake Lanier residence called for a pool and spa that honored the water views while creating its own distinct outdoor living zone. The design centers on clean geometry and minimal ornamentation, letting the architecture of the pool itself become the focal point. Every line was drawn to frame the landscape and complement the home's contemporary aesthetic.

The pool features vanishing edge construction on the lakeside, dissolving the boundary between the water feature and the vista beyond. A separate spa sits adjacent, positioned for both functionality and visual balance within the hardscape. The palette of cool-toned materials reinforces the modern sensibility without competing with the natural setting.

Travertine decking surrounds the pool and spa, chosen for its slip resistance and warm undertone that softens the minimalist design. Integrated lighting was embedded into the deck and water features to extend usability into evening hours. The spa incorporates jets and controls that integrate seamlessly into the overall design language.

The space was engineered to manage the site's natural drainage while maintaining clean sightlines from the home. Landscaping was selective and architectural, reinforcing the modern lines rather than softening them. The result is a pool and spa that feel as intentional and refined as the home itself.
