The Roberts project transforms a sloped Atlanta lot into a tiered outdoor living space that works with the natural grade rather than against it. A stone-clad raised pool wall becomes the architectural anchor, stepping down the slope while creating dramatic water features through sheer descents that catch light and sound.

Custom pergola posts in stone frame the space with intention, providing partial shade over the travertine deck without blocking sightlines to the surrounding landscape. The full travertine terrace unifies pool, spa, and gathering areas into one cohesive entertaining platform that handles drainage and thermal comfort.

An integrated fire pit carved into the design gives the space evening purpose and warmth, positioned to create conversation zones across the deck. The sheer descent water features and spa jets become ambient elements that activate the space visually and acoustically, working together to define different functional areas.
