Johns Creek 3 Tier Pool and Spa

This Johns Creek residence required a pool design that would command attention from every angle of the backyard. The freeform shape draws inspiration from natural water features, with curves that respond to the site's topography and sightlines from the home. The result is a sculptural centerpiece that feels organic rather than imposed, anchoring the entire outdoor living space.

Three distinct water elevations create movement and visual interest throughout the pool. Cascading step waterfalls connect each tier, transforming the circulation between levels into a design feature rather than mere function. The elevated tanning ledge provides a shallow transition zone, while the waterslide adds an element of play that serves both children and adults. Each level was engineered for proper flow, drainage, and structural integrity.

The nautilus shell spa nestles into the design as a sculptural accent, its curved walls echoing the pool's freeform geometry. Custom tile work and hardscape details tie the water feature to the surrounding landscape. Materials were selected to weather gracefully while maintaining the refined aesthetic that international design awards recognized in this project.

The space now functions as a true outdoor destination, capable of hosting gatherings while remaining intimate for daily use. The varied depths and features accommodate different activities without feeling cluttered, each element earning its place in the overall composition.
